George Foreman grill, the next Grillaration

Just an awesome machine. My dad dropped one of these off last sunday, and I can barely describe how great this thing is. I just want to grill meats and stuff all damn day.

I used to have the champ, it was limited to: plugging it and unplugging it. It was a total pain to clean. I used it for 2 years, it was a small unit I got a lot of use out of it.

The grillaration?! Oh man, this thing is unreal. You can set the tempature, set a timer, remove the plates to clean them (my biggest gripe with the old unit) and it comes with a cook book and special cleaning tools, it makes everything a snap.

I cant even wait to head out to the supermarket again, to get more stuff to grill.

It still amazes me how much fat drips off into the tray, it is a very health concious thing to have while still making everything very tasty.

The first few things I grilled were braukwurst and angus burgers, yum yum.


Pick yourself up one, they run somewhere around 60-70 bucks. It's a great investment.

Funny yo mention that as I used the Foreman Grill 2 nights ago and it is still sitting on my counter to be cleaned.....thats one reason it doesnt get used much.....

almost a week and still not clean! neither my wife nor i will clean it, but oddly the mother in law hasn't been here in a few days...as soon as she comes, it'll be cleaned...

for the price and the use the thing gets - i definately recommend having one - but like you guys cleaning the thing isnt high on the list afterwards !

you would get so much more out of one of those showtime rotissiere ( sp ) bbq ovens...

cooks chicken, fish, burgers, steaks , turkey , ribs ...

awesome piece of equipment .

BTW, Foreman is the most $uccessfull pitchman ever created.

We've had one for almost 2 years now and never used it. My wife says it's to small for the family.

The Foreman Grill is one of the very few first seen on T.V. gadgets that had HUGE success.

I love my George Forman grill. I use it to cook hamburger on and it's the greatest thing on earth. The fat just drips to the little tray and I have fat jar I keep in my freezer and I just pour the fat in it. When the jar if full, come trash day I throw it out. It's just amazing the FAT you throw out where most of that could had been in your body!

When I cook hamburger, I like to press down on the lid and just hear that sizzle and watch all that fat drip. I like my hamburger very lean. Some people say that it just makes the meat tuff, but I still like it knowing I'm getting lots of protein and alot less fat in my body.

Cleaning is a bit of a bitch but I've bought this special George Forman cleaning sponge and it contours to the grill plate for easy cleaning.

Their have been times when I'll over salvate and saliva will drip out of my mouth (it's not a recurring problem, it just happens once i a great while). When my girlfriend saw this happen to me she asked if I needed the Foreman drip tray for my mouth! That got me to thinkin' that mabye they ought to make a bib-like contraption of the Foreman drip tray for those of us who dribble.

When I moved into a condo, I traded a buddy of mine my bar-b-que and I we both think we got the better deal.
I don't eat meat other than fish, it's great for Salmon, eggplant, vegatables.

You know originally Hulk Hogan was the guy who was asked to promote this grill but for some reason he did not....some kind of miscommunication!

I havent used mine in about a month or two. During football use it like crazy though.

Alright, today I fired up the George and cooked some Italian sausage from the deli. Not that pre cooked Hillshire farms crap either. Dip each piece in some gulden's and wash it down some Sam Adam's. What a joy. Always puts me in a good mood.

I'm not going to clean the thing. Tommorow I think I'll have 2 more and just let that bacteria and stuff sizzle up. I'm sure there is some trace mineral that is really good for you in it.

You know that nothing brings the whole family together like a big pool with space for everyone. It should have a children's area, a diving area because teenagers love to dive, and it should not be perceived as a swimming pool. I would think of it as a big bathtub where everyone splashes about as they like. We have also added a rectangle to the whole thing for swimming in circles for long enough distances. Yes, it is better to sacrifice space in the house than almost the only entertainment for the whole family and not each member individually. However, when I created the complex shape of the pool, I did not foresee one thing. It is very difficult to clean it thoroughly. The filtration system is often overloaded in one area and underdeveloped in another. We end up cleaning the pool as a family. I wouldn't want to waste time on it really. Hiring a cleaner is not profitable. In general, we get negative feelings at the moment of cleaning. Now we are thinking how to automate the process or find a cheaper cleaner (for example pay my son ...).
